1. General

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with ProPet Training.
By booking a course, you agree to these terms in full.

2. Course Bookings

   •    A place is only secured once full payment has been received.
   •    You will receive confirmation by email once your booking is accepted.
   •    Course information, location and requirements will be provided before your training date.

3. Payments

   •    All payments must be made in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
   •    Payments are non-transferable unless stated under the Cancellation section below.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

4.1 Cancellations by the student
   •    More than 14 days before the course: you may transfer to another date (subject to availability).
   •    Less than 14 days before the course: no refunds or transfers, as your place cannot be re-filled at short notice.
   •    Non-attendance on the day forfeits the booking with no refund.

4.2 Cancellations by the trainer
   •    If a course must be cancelled due to illness, emergencies or circumstances beyond control, an alternative date will be offered.
   •    No compensation is provided for travel, accommodation or loss of income.

5. Course Requirements

Students must:
   •    be over 18 years old
   •    be physically capable of handling animals safely
   •    follow all safety instructions
   •    behave respectfully and professionally throughout the course

Failure to comply may result in removal from the training with no refund.

6. Microchipping Course Disclaimer

   •    Students are taught correct technique and legal requirements.
   •    It is your responsibility to ensure you comply with all current UK legislation after the course.
   •    You must follow database and implantation rules correctly.
   •    Certification is awarded upon successful completion of the course and demonstration of competence.

7. Ultrasound Course Disclaimer

   •    This course teaches pregnancy confirmation only.
   •    It does not qualify you to diagnose health conditions, abnormalities or medical issues.
   •    Students must never give medical advice or scan for conditions outside of pregnancy without veterinary involvement.

8. Whelping & Neonatal Course Disclaimer

   •    Advice provided is based on best practice and experience.
   •    Students are responsible for seeking veterinary guidance where appropriate.
   •    The course does not replace professional veterinary care.

9. Liability

   •    All practical work with live animals is undertaken at your own risk.
   •    ProPet Training accepts no liability for injuries, loss, damages, costs or claims
arising from misuse of techniques taught.
   •    You are responsible for your own insurance if required.

10. Certification

Certificates are issued only when:
   •    the full course has been completed,
   •    the student has demonstrated safe and competent technique,
   •    and the trainer is satisfied with the student’s understanding.

11. Privacy

We collect only the information required to process your booking and issue certification.
Your details are never shared with third parties.

12. Intellectual Property

All course materials, presentations, handouts, diagrams and written content remain the property of ProPet Training.

You may not copy, share or distribute them in any form.

13. Changes to Courses

We reserve the right to update course content, timings or locations when necessary.
